The tube body consists of spirally wound kraft paperboard. Each end is sealed with a snap-on polyethylene cap that creates a moisture barrier. The interior accommodates rolled documents, posters, blueprints, artwork, and other cylindrical items measuring up to 1.4 inches in diameter and 11.5 inches in length. The end caps press onto the tube ends without requiring tape or adhesive. The brown kraft exterior surface accepts shipping labels, stamps, and handwritten addressing.
